Since
2005, CFS has been fortunate to have a strong
and diverse roster of organizations and
individuals from California to New Jersey and
states in between who have signed statements in
support of our mission.
National groups that have
signed statements in support of the CFS mission
over the years include the American Council of
Life Insurers, Citigroup, the Cuban American
National Council, the League of United Latin
American Citizens, LPL Financial, the National
Council of Negro Women and the National Urban
League.
Today, the Coalition for Financial Security
continues to build a broad coalition that shares our dedication to
addressing the financial gap in America. We
encourage you and/or your organization to join
our efforts and sign on to our mission statement
below. By signing the Coalition for Financial
Security mission statement, you may be listed on our website as
supporting our mission statement and we will
keep you informed of our research projects,
advocacy efforts, and how you can help us make
progress.

Mission Statement The Coalition for Financial Security's mission is to educate policymakers, financial providers, and the public about the lack of financial security among millions of hard-working Americans, and help determine and advocate for effective solutions. There is a very serious gap between Americans who have the knowledge and resources needed to enjoy the benefits of life insurance, mutual funds, and banking products and those who may have savings but are unable to utilize the financial tools that will help them invest for the future and improve their lives. Our goal is to explore effective solutions that will bridge this gap so that more hard-working Americans will learn about and secure the financial tools that have become an important part of achieving the American dream. By examining why many Americans may be unaware of the need for such tools, and why others choose not to utilize them, we hope to find answers that will help more Americans get ahead. The Coalition for Financial Security believes that every American who dreams of investing in the future and passing their savings on to the next generation should have the opportunity to do so.
